About the research system

The machinery belongs behind the map, not inside the menu.

Agalmic Research is changing quickly. This page collects the deeper operating machinery so the primary navigation can remain stable while the knowledge base continues to branch.

Meta aim

Greater capacity to reach worthwhile futures.

The project studies and experiments with cognitive tools, institutions and representations that may improve the distributed process by which worthwhile possibilities become reachable, recognizable, testable and realizable.

It does not treat idea count, publication count or local novelty as ends in themselves. Existing knowledge is infrastructure. New work should ideally create reusable capacity, discriminating evidence, clearer handoffs or realized capability.

Under the hood

Research machinery and history.

These pages remain important, but they are supporting layers rather than peer-level destinations in the top navigation.

Research map

The programme-level questions and their current lineage-aware framing.

Research →

Principles

Operating commitments for defensibility, openness, contribution, publication and correction.

Principles →

Intellectual lineage

The living prior-art and novelty register, including ideas that were narrowed or renamed after review.

Lineage →

Research provenance

Standards-first contribution and process records using W3C PROV, CRediT and RO-Crate where possible.

Provenance →

Memory Palace Protocol

The session protocol for preserving questions, branches, decisions, roads not taken, evidence and contribution history.

Memory Palace →

astro-agalmic

The knowledge-discovery architecture extracted as a freely reusable Astro integration: semantic registry, validation, static search, history and generated context.

Notes & drafts

Lower-commitment research objects that can clarify questions and expose ideas without pretending every branch is a paper.

Open source

The website is part of the research object.

The site source, provenance records, literature reviews, portfolio data and machine-readable indexes live in the public repository. Public source does not mean every future research object must be public: patent-sensitive, confidential or personally sensitive material remains outside the public projection.

Reusable infrastructure should travel farther than the site that produced it. The astro-agalmic integration extracts the discovery architecture under the 0BSD licence so another project can take the useful machinery without inheriting our vocabulary or owing attribution.
