Not every useful contribution needs to become a paper. Notes are versioned, lineage-aware research objects intended to clarify a question, expose a useful synthesis, create a decision tool or make a next step possible.
Publication gate
What capacity does publishing this create?
Another public idea is not automatically another public good.
A note earns publication when it reduces future search cost, improves selection, recruits scrutiny or expertise, preserves a reusable model, creates a test, enables a handoff, or otherwise makes a worthwhile future more reachable.
The Memory Palace may be abundant. The publication stream should be selective.
